About the culture
“It’s a pretty flexible job where the focus is more on getting it done and less about clocking on or off at particular times. It feels like, as long as I’m putting in the effort and looking to learn, they’ll do whatever they can to keep me happy and support me if I need it.”
About the people
“The guys I work with are all pretty proud of the projects we get work on and I think they actually care a lot about doing a good job for the people we’re working for. The techy I’m apprenticed to seems pretty excited about seeing me grow and learn, and he’s always happy to take the time to explain things or show me new or better ways of doing things.”
About the work
“It can be quite challenging always having to be so careful and always being so conscious of safety, but because I’m always doing something different and learning new things it hardly ever gets boring. Its also cool to know that the work we’re doing is actually making it possible for people to shop online or pay their bills or whatever.”
