Alliance SI Apprentice of the Year 2020

We are delighted to congratulate Paul Tonios as the winner of the Alliance SI Apprentice of the Year for 2020. With a demonstrated commitment to excellence, and an exemplary record of outstanding customer service, Paul is a deserving recipient of our annual award.

“Paul is very passionate about delivering excellence in his work and shows great pride in seeing projects to which he has contributed come to successful fruition”, said Rod Cassidy when announcing the winner. “Paul embodies the passion, integrity and commitment to customer service that we value so highly at Alliance SI, and we look forward to helping him continue to learn and grow in his role.”

Completing his third year as an electrical and data apprentice in Victoria, Paul loves his job and says he can’t imagine working in any other industry. He relishes the support he receives from the Alliance SI team and appreciates the extensive training opportunities he receives along with the dedicated attention of his Project Manager.

“I’m always learning new things in my role at Alliance SI. Each day is different, and I am presented with new opportunities to develop my skills. Providing innovative solutions to solve customers’ problems makes my job meaningful, rewarding and exciting.”

With a desire for increased responsibility, Paul enjoys dealing directly with our clients and finding new ways to provide outstanding service. He takes great pride in each project and feels satisfaction every time he passes by a site to which he has contributed.

Paul sees great opportunity in the electrical industry and aspires to progress into a leadership role at Alliance SI. He would like the chance to manage and guide a high performing team, and to one day guide a new apprentice with the enthusiasm and support that he has been offered during his apprenticeship with Alliance SI.

As always, the selection process for Apprentice of the Year was challenging, given the high calibre of our apprentice candidates, who are evaluated on all aspects for their role including job skills, training, industry knowledge and personal skills. We also congratulate our other nominees, Adam Kwok and Thomas Chapple, for their outstanding efforts and their valuable contribution to the Alliance SI team.
